MARY FURST PASSES SUNDAY

Another old settler passed away Sunday morning in the person of Mrs. Mary Furst, who died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Peter Bohn of West South street.

Deceased was born in Bluffs City, Illinois February 27, 1866, and was married to John Furst on April 10, 1890. To them four daughters and one son were born, all of whom survive. They are Amanda of California; Alice of Marcus, Iowa; Alma of Omaha; and Arthur and Rena of Blair. Three grandchildren and four sisters also survive.

The husband passed away on June 14, 1922.

Mrs. Furst came to this county forty five years ago, and has resided here since that time.

Funeral rites were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Bendorf Funeral Home with Rev. Voss of Omaha officiating, and interment was made in the German cemetery near Bennington.
