OLD SETTLER BURIED WEDNESDAY

Rachel May Dixon of Arlington passed away January 20th at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Fremont.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 from the Campbell Mortuary in Blair and at 2:30 from the Methodist church in Arlington, which place had been her residence for years; interment was made in the Arlington cemetery.

Deceased was born in this county on December 26, 1868 to Mr. and Mrs. John Warrick, pioneer settlers who lived on a farm near Blair.

She was married in 1885 to Stanley Sylvester Dixon, and to them three children were born, two of whom preceded their mother in death; Stanley of Blair was the only living survivor as the husband passed away in March of 1937.

A native of this county, she spent her entire life here and besides the son she leaves three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Berry of Lincoln, Mrs. Nora Compton of Blair and Mrs. Esther Overmyer of Boise City, Idaho, also six grandchildren who deeply grieve their great loss.
