FORMER COUNTIAN DIES IN WAYNE

C. C. Petersen, son of the late Frederick and Margaret Petersen of the Vacoma school district, died at his home in Wayne, Nebraska on the evening of December 19.

Deceased was a native of this county, and received his education in the schools of this county. At his death he was fifty seven years old.

He lived for a number of years in Iowa where he followed the work of a machinist and in 1923 he, with his family, moved to Wayne where he again entered the work of machinist which work he followed until his health failed.

Besides the wife he leaves three sons in the immediate family, also three brothers and three sisters, Peter L. of Osmond, Henry and Fritz of Herman, Mrs. Mary Carlsberg of Fremont, Mrs. Tena Wachter of Herman and Mrs. Nora Gosker of Arlington. His parents and a sister preceded him in death.
