MRS. PETER SIERT BURIED NOV. 22ND

Mrs. Peter Siert, aged 86 years, passed away at the Blair Convalescent Home on Friday at 3:35 a.m. She was born in Germany on January 5, 1862 where she lived until 24 years of age when she married, and with her husband, came to this country settling near Kennard, Nebraska on a farm.

From this farm they moved to a farm near Herman where they lived until they retired and moved to Blair where they erected a home on West Lincoln Street where they lived until death took them.

Mr. Siert died November 15, 1927, and Mrs. Siert lived alone until last July when she fell and broke her hip. Since then she has been in the Convalescent Home and in the Clarkson Hospital in Omaha and then back to the Convalescent Home.

Mrs. Siert was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church in Germany, and has been an active member in the Trinity Lutheran church of this city for years.

Funeral services with Rev. H. C. Jul Frese officiating were held Monday in the Trinity Lutheran Church and under the supervision of the Bendorf Funeral Home, interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
