MRS. GEHRKE RITES NOVEMBER 9TH

Mrs. Minnie Gehrke passed away at the Sandberg Home of Omaha on November 6, 1948 at the age of 90 years, 3 months and 15 days. She was born in Wisconsin where she grew to womanhood.

In 1877 she was married to Henry Gehrke, and in 1883 they moved to Calhoun where they farmed in the Long Creek school district. Five children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Gehrke, two of whom are still living, Mrs. Ernest Doll of Omaha and Mr. E. W. Gehrke of Dallas, Texas. The husband died in January of 1912.

Besides the children mentioned above she leaves three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
