RITES HELD AT ARLINGTON FOR L. HETRICK

Lawrence Eli Hetrick, 72, died at his home in Arlington after an illness of several months. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. at the Salem Lutheran church at Fontanelle with Dr. M. A. Ritzen, pastor of the church officiating.

Mr. Hetrick was born January 25, 1876 at Omaha. He was married on December 20, 1905 to Miss Margaret Loges of Arlington. They farmed near here until five years ago when they retired and moved to town.

Survivors include his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Theodore Schmeckpepper of Hartley, Iowa and Mrs. Harold Nielsen of Fairfax, Minn.; two sons, William Hetrick of Fremont and Fred Hetrick of Fontanelle.

A quartette composed of Miss Florence Langhorst, Miss Martha Hartung, Kenneth Strenger and Dalton Strenger sang “Rock of Ages”, “Asleep in Jesus” and “Just As I Am” with Miss Esther Langhorst accompanying at the piano. Pallbearers were Joseph Synder, Jesse Snyder, Emil Loges, Theodore Snyder, John Willison and John Loges.

Burial was made in the Fontanelle Cemetery under the direction of Reckmeyer and Son Funeral Directors.
