JOHN P. DALL DIES AT AGE OF 77

Mr. John P. Dall was born in Stennerup, Denmark on the 7th day of September, 1870. At the age of nine years he came to America with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Dall, Sr. On March 17, 1900 he was united in marriage with Miss Lena Simonsen.

Mr. Dall resided in Douglas Co. ever since coming to America 69 years ago. He was actively engaged in farming all his life, almost until the very last when ill health made it imperative for him to retire. Since May Mr. and Mrs. Dall have made their home at 4026 Binney St., Omaha.

After a lingering siege of illness, Mr. Dall departed this life in a local hospital Thursday afternoon, August 19, 1948 at the age of 77 yrs., 11 months and 12 days.

Although Mr. Dall was humble and unassuming, his passing will leave a painful void in the heart of the community.

Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Lena Dall, three sons, Thomas J. of Omaha, Emil of Los Angeles, California and John of Concord, Nebraska. Five daughters, Mrs. Alma Rabes and Mrs. Irma Robinson, both of Omaha; Mrs. Marie Burke of Los Angeles; Mrs. Adeline Lambrecht of Blair; Mrs. Irene Fry of Valley, Nebraska. Four brothers, five sisters, sixteen grandchildren and great grandchild and many more distant relatives and friends. One son and two daughters preceded him in death.
