EVA ALGREN LARSEN DIES AT 93 YRS.

Eva Algren Larsen died at the Fremont Hospital Thursday, June 17th, at 93 years of age.

She was born October 18th, 1854 in Sweden where she was also baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church. In 1882 she was married in Ole Larsen in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 1888 she immigrated to America after her husband had preceded her to America for two years. coming to America in 1888 her home has been in the Washington-Kennard community. As such, she is one of the early settlers of this county, who helped to improve and build up the community. To the last she lived in her home place next door to her daughter. Hers was a long life before she was called away to her home beyond.

She leaves to mourn her departure her daughter, Mrs. Jensine Nelsen, a sister, Joan Youngquist, and a brother, Gustaf Algreen in Sweden.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 22, in the church at Washington with Rev. Thorslev of Kennard officiating, and interment under the supervision of the Campbell Mortuary was made in Prairie View cemetery.
