CHAS. DEAN DIED MONDAY

Chas. Dean, formerly of Blair, but for a number of years a resident of Iowa, died Monday at the home of his daughter in Missouri Valley. He was born July 19, 1855 in Iowa. Had he lived until his next birthday he would have been 95 years of age.

He leaves five children to mourn him, one son in Sacramento, California, two daughters in Missouri Valley, one in Albert Lea, Minnesota and Mrs. U. G. Garner of Blair.

He was a fifty year Mason and the Masons had charge of the services in Missouri Valley. Interment was made in the Blair Cemetery where his wife was buried, having died twenty two years ago.
