RITES WEDNESDAY FOR MRS. LAAKER

Mrs. Emma Laaker, age 76, died Sunday at her home, 624 North Bell street in Fremont after an illness of many months.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday from the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church with Rev. Victor W. Hoffman officiating. Burial was in the family lot in the St. Paul cemetery north of Arlington.

Mrs. Laaker, the daughter of the late William Kruger, was born on August 24, 1874 in Arlington, Nebraska. She married Charles Laaker on December 6, 1893 in Arlington where the couple made their home on a farm. In March, 1924 they retired and moved to Fremont. Mr. Laaker preceded her in death five years ago.

Mrs. Laaker was a member of the Trinity Lutheran church. She was confirmed to the Lutheran faith in 1885 at The St. Paul Lutheran church north of Arlington by the Rev. Hilgendorf.
