RITES FOR MRS. HENRY HAZELWOOD HELD FRIDAY

Arlington - Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Hazlewood, 58, who died following a brief illness at the Dodge County Community hospital, were held at the Reckmeyer chapel Friday morning at 11:30 and at the Presbyterian church in Wahoo at 2 p.m., Rev. H. F. Beebe, pastor of the Methodist church, officiated at the services in Arlington and Rev. E. J. Nickerson conducted the services in Wahoo. Mrs. Alvin Anderson and Miss Lucy Lawson accompanied by Mrs. Allen Laaker sang “In The Garden” and “Out of the Ivory Palaces”. Burial was in the Wahoo cemetery.

Anna Peglow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Peglow, was born at Ithaca May 14, 1889. She was baptized and confirmed in the Ithaca Lutheran church by Rev. H. E. Studier. All her life, except the last nine years, was spent in Saunders county.

On December 14, 1910 she was married to Harry Fox of Weston, and to this union three sons were born. Mr. Fox died in 1916 leaving her the three young sons to rear. In April of 1939 Mrs. Fox moved to Arlington and in October, 1940 she was married to Henry C. Hazlewood of this place.

Surviving relatives, besides her husband and three sons, Arthur and Dorsey of Arlington and Otto of Fremont, are three grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Radenslaben of Ceresco and Mrs. Elsie Boesel of Wahoo.
