E. H. LUND RITES SATURDAY

Funeral rites for E. H. Lund were held last Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Bendorf Funeral Home with Rev. D. D. Kennedy of the Baptist Church officiating, and interment was made in the Ft. Calhoun cemetery.

Deceased was born in Douglas County April 12, 1881 where he grew to manhood and on September 24, 1904 he was married to Johanna Thomsen.

He has been in failing health for four or five years, and on Tuesday, February 24th, he died suddenly of a heart attack.

He leaves his wife, four sons, John H. of Nye, Wisconsin; Harvey E. of Ft. Calhoun; LeRoy L. of Omaha; and Lymann M. of Arlington and one daughter, Ella A. Lund of Chicago.

He was a successful farmer and a good neighbor, and he had a wide circle of friends both here and in Calhoun who will miss his kindly helpful attitude.
