MRS. HARRY NEFF RITES JANUARY 29

Last of Family of Early Settlers of 1868. Lived in Vicinity 80 Years.

Nellie G. Neff was born at Morril, Maine September 5, 1865, and passed away January 27, 1948 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Addie Spiker. She was the second daughter of the late Smandel and Nancy Cushman.

At the age of three years she moved with her parents to Washington County where she has since resided. When a young girl she joined the Methodist church at Vacoma. This church as since burned down.

She was married to Harry Neff October 15, 1886 at the Vacoma Parsonage and to this union one daughter, Mrs. Addie Spiker, was born.

She is survived by her husband, Harry and daughter, Mrs. Spiker, also 4 grandchildren, Lloyd, LeRoy and Chester Spiker and Mrs. Howard Taylor and 10 great grandchildren. She has other relatives and many friends who mourn her passing.

She was the last of a good old pioneer family of Washington county.
