RITES FOR GUSTAV GOEDEKER HELD THURSDAY

Arlington - Funeral services for Gustav F. Goedeker, 66, who died Monday morning at the Dodge County Community hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Reckmeyer chapel. Rev. H. F. Beebe, minister of the Arlington Methodist church will officiate, and burial is to be in the Arlington cemetery.

A native, Mr. Goedeker was born October 19, 1881 near Orum, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Goedeker, pioneer Washington county farmers. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith by Rev. Hilgendorf in Arlington.

The deceased lived at Bennington for a number of years, and later moved to Arlington where he was married to Lena Hashoff, also of Arlington. Mr. Goedeker had been employed at the Marshall Nursery in Arlington for many years.

Surviving are his widow, a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Paulsen of Bennington, seven brothers, W. L. of Dodge, George of Hershey, Louis of Bennington, Herman of Winnetun, Fred of Creighton, Ed of Washington and Adolph Goedeker of Rush City, Minnesota and several nieces and nephews.
