MRS. FRITZ JAPP PASSES AWAY DECEMBER 28th

Mrs. Fritz Japp of Kennard passed away at the Blair hospital last Sunday evening, December 28th, after being confined to her bed for the past three months, six weeks of which was in the Blair Hospital.

She is survived by her husband and five children, three sons and two daughters, Richard, 15; Merle, 9; Billy, 1; Darlene, 13; and Joanne, 8.

Mrs. Japp was a wonderful wife and mother and the family mourn deeply their irretrievable loss. Cut down before her life work was complete, and having a family sorely needing the love and care of a mother, causes the whole community to extend their sympathy to the stricken family.

Besides the husband and family, she leaves her mother, Mrs. Johanna Schmidt and six sisters, Mrs. Herman Schroeder of Purdue, Nebr.; Mrs. Ann Schmidt and Mrs. Edna Paulsen of Omaha; Mrs. Ella Kopke of Millard, Nebr.; Mrs. Amanda Harder of Elkhorn, Nebr.; Mrs. Alma Wiese of Missouri Valley, Iowa; and two brothers, Ernest Schmidt of Craig; and Harry S. of Calhoun. Two sisters, Miss Clara Schmidt and Mrs. Emma Autzen preceded her in death.

Funeral services were Held Wednesday at 2 p.m. form the Methodist church in Kennard with Rev. P. L. Thoreslev officiating, and interment under the supervision of Christ K. Bendorf was made in the Kennard cemetery.
