FORMER BLAIRITE DIES IN TEXAS

Lutie Bruse, a native of this county, died in Palacios, Texas October 29, 1948. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Bruse, formerly of Cuming City township.

He is survived by his wife and one son, Max, of Houston, Texas and two brothers, George of Sibley, Iowa; and Albert of St. Louis, Missouri; and four sisters, Mrs. Sophia Reeh of Blair; Miss Lena Bruse of Fremont; Mrs. Clara Sierk of Ft. Calhoun, Nebraska; and Mrs. Anna Winters of Portland, Oregon. Lutie was an active member of the Lutheran church and I.O.O.F. Lodge.

A brother, Henry, died four years ago.
