Peterson, Vera, age 77, Creighton, NE. Vera Peterson, daughter of Dimitrije and Radmila (Kukec) Radovic, was born September 9, 1928 at Beograd, Yugoslavia. She attended Kragojevac Yugoslavia schools.

On February 10, 1948, she was married to Dick Peterson at Munich, Germany. Two children were born to them, Linda Kay and Wendy Lynn.

She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church of Arlington, NE. Vera died Monday, March 27, 2006 at the Creighton Care Center at the age of 77.

She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Linda and Greg Hermesch of Omah, NE and Wendy and Max Doerr of Bloomfield, NE; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and a sister, Nada Coates of Newport News, VA; brothers-in-law John and his wife Linda Peterson of Brookings, Oregon and Jerry Jerard of Florida; a special friend and care giver, Joan Sonnichsen of Creighton; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother-in-law Davy Peterson, and a sister-in-law, Roma Gerard.

Memorial graveside services will be Monday, April 3, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Blair Cemetery, Blair, NE. There will be a Memorial Visitation on Sunday, April 2, from 2-4pm at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton, NE.

Note: When this lady was born, her city, Begrade, was in Yugoslavia. Today it is in Serbia. Her city was founded before 279 B.C. when it was called Singidunum
