FORMER HERMAN MAN IS BURIED

Richard Kimball, 57, native of Herman but for 30 years a resident of Omaha, was buried in Herman cemetery Friday afternoon following services at the Baptist church there. The rites were in charge of the Rev. Thomas J. Reese of Blair.

Born December 10, 1877 in Herman, he was married to Anna McKee in 1902. Surviving him are a daughter, Mrs. J. Jenkins of Des Moines, six grandchildren, two sisters and several nieces and nephews.

RICHARD KIMBALL IS BURIED FRIDAY

Former Herman resident, 57, died in Omaha hospital July 8

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. at the Baptist Church for Richard Kimball, a former Herman resident. Rev. T.J. Reese, pastor of Blair Baptist Church was in charge. Music was furnished by Mrs. L.V. Ackerman, Mrs. C.E. Johnson, C.R. Gray and Fred Robertson, with Miss Louise Larsen at the piano. Pallbearers were all nephews of the deceased and were the sons of Mr. and Mrs. D.O. Sheets, Earl, George, Clayton, Nicholas, Raymond and Elmer Sheets. Interment was made in the Herman Cemetery.

Richard Kimball was born at Herman, December 10, 1877 and passed away at an Omaha hospital Wednesday July 8, at the age of 57 years, six months and 28 days. He was united in marriage to Anna McKee, April 6, 1902. To this union one daughter was born.

He made his home with his parents here until around 30 years ago, when he went to Omaha, where he had resided until the time of his death. He will be remembered by a number of old time friends here who regret his departure. He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. J.H. Jenkins of Des Moines, Iowa, six grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Anna Arnold, of Council Bluffs, Mrs. D.O. Sheets of Herman, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Those out of town who attended the funeral were Mrs. Loretta Jenkins of Des Moines, Mrs. Anna Arnold of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Lena Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. George Sheets of Blair,
