Jess Cooper Rites Thursday

Blair—Funeral services for Jess Cooper, 58, will be Thursday at 9 a.m.at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church with the Rev. Edward C. O’Donnell officiating. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Campbell Mortuary. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery at Blair.

Mr. Cooper, an employee of port of entry at Florence Bridge in Omaha, died Tuesday at an Omaha Hospital.

Survivors include his widow, Katherine; a son, James; two daughters by a previous marriage: Mrs. Dorothy Rohde of Beloit, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Doris Schaub of Sioux Lookout, Canada; five step-children: Mrs. Walter Bombene (Charlotte) of Vienna, Virginia, Mrs. Pete Christensen Sr (Carol) of Bennington, and William Fredrick Cooper at home; three grandchildren and a brother, Joseph Frank of Mount Vernon, Iowa.

Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
