MRS. O. DEWITT RITES FRIDAY

Funeral rites were conducted last Friday afternoon at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian church for Mr. Olin DeWitt, who passed away August 27 at the home of her adopted son, Guy McNair of Fort Calhoun.

As Martha Wheeler, Mrs. DeWitt was born at Rome, Indiana on October 7, 1855, coming to Nebraska in 1884. She was married to Olin DeWitt on July 13, 1890 at Blair, and most of their married life was spent on a farm south of Fort Calhoun. Mr. DeWitt died in 1927. Surviving are the son, Mr. McNair, two grandchildren, two nephews and a niece.
