FORMER HERMANITE BURIED MONDAY

Inga Horn was born on a farm southwest of Herman December 21, 1893 and died at her home in Omaha Saturday, July 27, 1940, aged 46 years, 7 months and 6 days. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Horn, and spent her childhood on the farm attending the Thone school, later the Herman High school from which she graduated in 1910.

In the fall of 1920 she was married to Walter B. Hawkinson and one daughter, Lola Jean, was born to them. They have resided in Omaha since their marriage. She was a member of the Herman chapter Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are the husband and daughter, one sister, Mrs. R. C. Beard of Omaha, her mother, Mrs. Olena Horn and brother, Fred Horn of Herman.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 Monday afternoon at the Baptist church in Herman, Rev. Boss, pastor of the Lutheran church of Omaha, officiating. Members of the Herman O.E.S. attended the services in a body, and the music was furnished by Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Mrs. James Presba, Fred Robertson and C. R. Gray. Interment was made in the Herman cemetery.
