BURY G. M. LYDICK, FORMER

G. M. Lydick, 73, former resident of Fontanelle and Herman, died Thursday at his home in Clatonia, Nebraska, and services and interment took place there on Saturday morning.

Born in Salem, Illinois on January 22, 1867, Mr. Lydick grew to manhood at Fontanelle and later owned and operated a drug store in Herman. He had been postmaster at Clatonia for 32 years, serving for a time as president of the state postmasters’ association.

Surviving are five sisters, including Mrs. Gertrude Reid of Herman.
