O. DAVIS, 56, DEATH VICTIM

Oscar Davis, native countian, was stricken with a heart attack while listening to the radio early Thursday afternoon at his home at Herman and passed away at the age of 56 years, 11 months, and 1 day.

Born at Herman, Davis spent his entire life in the county with the exception of fifteen years at Emerson. He was married to Della Belville at Blair on July 4, 1907, and five children were born to them, two preceding him in death. Surviving are his wife and three sons: Clifford at home; Dale and Vern of Los Angeles, California; one brother, Jesse of Craig; and a sister, Mrs. Lloyd Mathieson, Herman.

Funeral rites were conducted at the Herman Baptist church Monday afternoon, Rev. A. W. Clarke officiating, and interment was made in the Herman cemetery.
