L. E. CLASEN RITES THURSDAY

Funeral services were held at Fort Calhoun last Thursday afternoon for Louis E. Clasen, 44, who died at the Veterans Hospital in Lincoln the preceding Monday afternoon following three months spent there as a patient. Born in Fort Calhoun on August 31, 1895, he operated a blacksmith and repair shop originated by his father, and spent his entire life in that business with the exception of his service during the World War.

Surviving are three brothers: Clifford of Omaha, Arthur of Kingsville, Texas; and Henry; and two sisters: Mrs. Emma Richardson of Omaha and Mrs. Martha McAllister.
