MRS. ARTHUR N. ANDERSEN

Mrs. Arthur N. Andersen of the Herman vicinity passed away June 10, 1940 at the Immanuel hospital in Omaha after an illness of four years’ duration. Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Christiansen of Sheridan township and was born June 23, 1905. She was married to Arthur N. Andersen on May 12, 1927.

Besides the husband she leaves her mother and four sisters and three brothers and other relatives to mourn her death. The sisters are Mrs. N. A. Greenwood of Craig; Mrs. Carl Hansen of Graham, Washington; Mrs. T. W. Petersen of Herman, Nebraska; and Mrs. Leslie Lawersen of Hooper. The brothers are Calvin of Craig; Ernest of Decatur and William Christiansen of Hooper.

Funeral services, under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Service, were held in the Herman Baptist church with Rev. Emanuel Petersen of Minnesota officiating, and interment was made in the Herman cemetery.

Funeral services were held last Thursday afternoon at the Herman Baptist church for Mrs. A. N. Anderson, nee Lillie Pearl Christiansen, who passed away in the Omaha Immanuel hospital June 10 at the age of 34 years. Rev. Immanuel Petersen of Minnesota, Lutheran minister, and Eric Christensen of Blair were in charge of the rites, and interment followed in the Herman cemetery. Music was furnished by the Swaburg male quartet and by Rev. Petersen.
