MRS. M. STEWART BURIED AT YORK

Mrs. Mamie Stewart 75, resident of Washington county for many years, passed away at her home in York, Nebraska early Monday morning as the result of a heart ailment. Funeral services conducted jointly by the Christian Science church and the Church of Christ were held at the York Christian church Wednesday afternoon, and burial was made in the York cemetery.

As Mamie Elizabeth Cunningham she was born in Douglas county. She was married at Kennard to Jake Stewart, and they resided in Washington where Mr. Stewart operated a grain elevator, later moving to Charlestown where Mr. Stewart continued in the elevator business until his death ten years ago. For the past two years Mrs. Stewart had lived in York with a daughter, Mrs. Alma Pickering.

She is survived by two sons, Will and Richard of York; two daughters, Mrs. Alma Pickering of York and Mrs. John Hockom of Denver; one sister, Mrs. Jens Jensen of Washington; and a brother, Charles Cunningham of Blair.
