J. F. TILDEN, 90, DIED THUESDAY

James F. Tilden, 90, who has made his home for the past year and one half with his son, Dr. R. E. Tilden and family, passed away suddenly last Tuesday while on a short visit to his farm home near Benedict, Nebraska. Funeral services will be held in Benedict this Thursday afternoon.

Mr. Tilden would have reached his 91st birthday had he lived but two weeks longer. He had spent the winter months with R. E. Tildens since his wife’s death nine years ago, and lately he had made his home with them entirely. He is survived by six sons, R. E. of Blair; Orren of York; George of Hastings; Glen of Las Vegas, Nevada; Rev. Red Tilden of Duncan, Oklahoma; and Julius of Burnsville, Texas; also one daughter, Dr. Gladys Stevenson of Las Vegas, Nevada.
