90 YEAR OLD HERMANITE PASSES AWAY

Mrs. John Larson, aged ninety, passed away at her home in Herman last Saturday, March 2, as the result of six years of illness and failing health.

As Christina Louisa Andersen, she was born at Vimmerby, Sweden on October 26, 1849. In 1879 she was married to John Peter Larson at Hjorted, Sweden, and to their union were born six children, four of whom are still living. In 1882 Mr. Larson came to the United States and located in Illinois where he was joined a year later by Mrs. Larson. The family lived in Tekamah for four years, and then came to Herman where they have since made their home with the exception of a six year period spent in Minnesota.

Mrs. Larson was confirmed in the Lutheran church in Sweden, but upon coming to Herman she affiliated with the Methodist church and was active in the Methodist Aid Society as long as her health permitted.

Surviving are the husband who recently celebrated his 95th birthday, two sons, Frank Larson of Sierra Madre, California; and Henning Larson of Herman; two daughters, Miss Louise Larson of Herman and Mrs. Wallace Andersen of Powell, Wyoming; four grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Herman Methodist church Tuesday afternoon, Rev. A. W. officiating, and interment was made in the Herman cemetery.
