DEATH CONCLUDES 2 YEAR ILLNESS

Mae Elizabeth Boock, daughter of Mrs. Anna Boock of Blair, passed away at her home here Thursday evening, February 22, at the age of eighteen years. Her death was the result of an accident which occurred in January, 1938, starting the trouble that finally claimed her life.

Miss Boock was born on a farm south of Kennard on September 18, 1921, to Mr. and Mrs. George Boock. When she was two years old the family moved to Hooker, Oklahoma, but following the death of the father in March, 1924, they returned to Blair. Survivors are the mother; three brothers, George, Otto and Henry of Blair; three sisters, Christina Boock and Mrs. Roy Wakefield of Blair and Mrs. Leo Sparks of Macy.

Rev. Charles E. Hamilton, pastor of the Baptist church, officiated at the funeral services held at Bender’s Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon, and burial was made in the Blair cemetery.
