EMIL LAMP RITES HELD TUESDAY

Emil Lamp, a native of this county, passed away Saturday, February 10th at the Immanuel hospital in Omaha following an illness of about three weeks’ duration.

Deceased was born January 4, 1877 on the farm on which he lived until his death. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marx Lamp who earlier homesteaded about one half mile west of where he was born.

In November, 1904 he was married and to this union two children were born, Richard who resides on the home farm and Mrs. Helen Kerstetter who resides on farm in the same neighborhood.

The wife died in 1931 and deceased never remarried. Besides the two children he leaves one sister, Mrs. G. M. Mangold of Fremont, to mourn his parting.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Hadan Mortuary in Bennington, and interment was made in the German cemetery.
