PHYLLIS BAKER, 15, DIES IN HOSPITAL

Phyllis Jean Baker of Kennard, fifteen year old daughter of Mrs. Mabel Baker, died at the Methodist hospital in Omaha last Friday of peritonitis following an appendectomy.

Born on July 18, 1924, Miss Baker had spent her entire life in Kennard. She is survived by her mother; her grandmother, Mrs. Nannie Robertson; and two aunts, Mrs. Lela Troyer and Mrs. Mary Shaul of Omaha; and an uncle, Leland G. Robertson of San Diego, California.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 o’clock Monday afternoon from the Kremer Funeral Home in Omaha, and interment was made in the Kennard cemetery. Pallbearers were Norman Dixon, Walter Graves, Leo Helmsing, Lyman Camberg, Lewis Ward and Howard Cook, all of Kennard.
