FORMER KENNARD RESIDENT DIES OF HEART ATTACK

Relatives and friends at Kennard received word of the death of W. E. Dempsy of Eddyville, Nebraska, who passed away Monday morning as the result of a heart attack.

Mr. Dempsy, a former Kennard resident, operated a shoe repair and harness shop in Kennard for about ten years. He had resided at Eddyville for the past ten years.

Survivors include his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Ola Sorensen of Kennard, Mrs. Berniece Sappenfield of Omaha and Mrs. Grant Lundstrom of Hooper.

Funeral services will be held at Campbell’s Mortuary on Saturday, and burial will be made at Kennard.
