CLARENCE JOHN IS BURIED AT ARLINGTON

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 24, at Arlington Community Church in Arlington for Clarence F. Jahn, 72, who died April 21, 1982, at his home.

Rev. Gerald E. Senn conducted the services. Burial was in Arlington Cemetery.

Clarence F. Jahn was born october 1, 1909, in rural Stanton to Max and Minnie Laubsch Jahn. He was raised in Stanton County and lived in Wahoo for ten years before moving to the Fremont and Arlington area in 1948.

He married Wilma Bruse on March 27, 1928, in Hoskins. He was a farmer and stockman before his retirement.

He was a member of the Arlington Community Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Walter; and one grandchild.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma; two sons, Dallas and Stanley, both of Fremont; and two daughters, Mrs. Dwight (Dian) Bartlett of San Diego, California; and Mrs. Rod (Carolyn) Welander of Woodland Park, Colorado. One brother, Alfred Jahn of Columbus; and one sister, Mrs. Edwin (Dorthy) Brogrin of Norfolk, also survive him.

Pallbearers were Don Weyhrich, Lyle Weyhrich, Brian Peterson, James A. Peterson, Dennison Calloway and Lynton Marty.

Mrs. Lavern Schmidt was organist.

Rechmeyer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
