L. C. AXELGAARD DIED WEDNESDAY

L. C. Axelgaard, a resident of this community since 1921, passed away at his home on east Lincoln St. at 9:00 pm. Wednesday following an illness of several months.

He was born in Denmark March 14, 1876 and came to this country when a young man. For a number of years he farmed and later moved to Blair.

He leaves his wife and one nephew in this country and a number of relatives in the mother country. In his dealings he was strictly honest and had many friends who respect him for his sterling qualities.

The funeral arrangements have as yet not been completed but will be conducted under the auspices of the Fick Funeral Home.
