JOHN W. DAVIS DIES AT 88

John W. Davis, a former resident of Herman and Blair, died at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Pearl Davis of Powell, Wyoming. He had submitted to a surgical operation from which at his advanced age he failed to recover.

Deceased came to Blair in 1883 and later moved to Herman. The family moved to Wyoming in 1915 where they homesteaded northwest of Powell. They moved into Powell in 1922 where he lived until his death.

Many Washington county friends will remember John W. Davis and will be sorry to hear of his death. , a former resident of Herman and Blair, died at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Pearl Davis of Powell, Wyoming.
