MRS. MARY WARD SUCCUMBS OCT. 23th

Mrs. Mary F. Ward, mother of William and Albert Ward of Blair, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hattie Newman, at Mapleton, Iowa October 23th.

Mrs. Ward is survived by three sons, two daughters, twenty four grandchildren and twenty nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services in charge of Rev. D. D. Kennedy, were held October 28th at the local Baptist Church, and burial was made at the Bertha Cemetery located between Decatur and Oakland.
