Donald L. Jahn, Jr., 41, of Parkville, Mo., died Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at Bethany Hospital in Kansas City, Kan.

Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 25, at St. John's Catholic Church in Minden, Iowa. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, March 24 at Layton Fuenral Home. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday, March 24 at the church. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 25, at the Blue Hill Cemetery in Blue Hill.

Donald L. Jahn, Jr., was born July 22, 1958, to Donald and Patricia (Miller) Jahn in Washington D.C. He grew up in Blue Hill and Blair, graduating from Blair High School in 1976. On July 28, 1978, he married Dianne Lutz in Blair. In 1980, he graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He worked for General Motors. The couple lived in Indiana, Florida, Michigan and settled in Parkville, Mo. in 1993.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia, of Parkville, Mo.; three sons, Donald L. Jahn III, Garrett Jahn and Matthew Jahn of Parkville, Mo.; his parents, of Minden; one brother, Jeffrey Jahn of Minneapolis, Minn.; one sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Steve Werner of Minden; a grandmother, Opal Jahn of Minden; a niece, Sara Werner of Minden; two nephews, Josh and Nicholas Werner of Minden; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by one son, Justin; maternal grandparents; paternal grandfather; and one brother, Christopher.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
