LARS. C. PAULSEN DIES SUNDAY

Was born in Saeby, Jutland, Denmark on December 16, 1867, came to America in 1881, was married to Maren H. Andersen on March 22nd, 1895 in Iowa. To this union six children were born, one of whom passed away in infancy. Those who, together with their mother, remain to mourn their father’s passing are Mrs. Agnes Brogan of Los Angeles, Lewis A. Paulsen of Texas, Mrs. Freda M. Scott of Los Angeles, James A. Paulsen of Blair, and Mrs. Ann C. Porter of Wold Creek, Oregon. Nine grandchildren and several relatives in Iowa also survive him. Mr. and Mrs. Paulsen moved to Nebraska in 1898 and have resided near and in Blair until Mr. Paulsen’s death in University hospital in Omaha on September 28.

The funeral service will be held in First lutheran church on Friday afternoon, October 3, at 2 o’clock, and burial will be in Blair cemetery. Rev. H. C. Jorgensen, pastor of the First Lutheran church will officiate, and interment will be made under the auspices of the Bendorf Funeral Home.
