WILMA C. JAHN, 92

Former Arlington resident Wilma C. Jahn, 92, of Fremont, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, at the A.J. Merrick Manor in Fremont.

Funeral services were Tuesday, March 6, at the Arlington Community Church, with a private interment at Arlington Cemetery.

Wilma C. Bruse waas born Feb. 17, 1915, in Hoskins to John and Lena (Bruce) Bruse.

On March 27, 1938, she married Clarence John at Hoskins. After their marriage, the couple lived at Wausa for 10 years, then in Fremont for a short time before moving to Arlington in 1948. They moved back to Fremont, living there from 1958 to 1971, before returning to Arlington.

Mrs. Jahn was self-employed and cleaned homes for area families.

She was a member of the Arlington Community Church and was active at the Arlington Over 60 Center.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Dallas and Charlotte Jahn and Stanley and Nancy Jahn, all of Fremont; daughters and sons-in-law, Dian and Skip Miller of San Diego, Calif., and Carolyn and Rod Welander of Fremont; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, in 1982; brothers, Walter, Alex, and George Bruse; sisters, Ella Shermer, Martha Ohlund, and Clara Westphalen; and a grandson, Kenneth Jahn.

Memorials are suggested to the Arlington Over 60 Center.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
