21 Aug., 1947 - The Enterprise OTTO CARMICHAEL, JR., DIES SUDDENLY IN OMAHA

Word of the sudden death of Otto (Tape) Carmichael reached Blair immediately following his death Monday evening. The attributing cause is reported as heart trouble.

Deceased was born in Blair February 19, 1895 and was thus past fifty two years of age. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Carmichael, he grew to manhood here and received his education in the Blair schools.

Besides the parents he leaves two sisters, Mrs. Louis Robinson of Blair and Mrs. Harry Dunn of Omaha and two brothers, Walter of Omaha and Robert of Blair.

Funeral services are being held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Bendorf Funeral Home, and interment is to be in the Blair cemetery.
