SERVICES ARE IN FREMONT FOR LOUISA JAKOB

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Louisa Jakob, 101, Thursday, April 3, at the Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Donald E. Levenhagen officiated.

Born in Dellihausen, Germany, on October 5, 1878 as Louisa Schormann, she came to the United States with her family in 1898 and settled on a farm near Rockville. She was married to Fred Jakob in Haystown on October 3, 1900. The couple moved to a farm near Arlington in 1945 before settling in Fremont in 1948.

Mrs. jakob resided at the Memorial Hospital Annex at the time of her death on Monday, March 31, 1980.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Herb (Adela) Knoell of Fremont; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Olga Stranghoener, Miss Rosa Schormann and Mrs. Wilma Scheer, all of Fremont.

Her four sons and husband preceded her in death.

Memorials may be sent to Trinity Lutheran Church.

Burial was in Memorial Cemetery, Fremont.
