CHARLES F. TEXTER DIED JULY 15TH

Chas. F. Texter, old settler of Ft. Calhoun, passed away Tuesday, July 15. Apparently this attributing cause was old age. He had passed his 79th birthday on January 13.

Deceased was born in Ohio and came to this county settling in Ft. Calhoun when but a young man. His wife passed on twenty seven years ago. Since then he has made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Al Croft.

Surviving him is the one daughter, two grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Mary Nickels, all of Ft. Calhoun.

Funeral services, under the auspices of the Sievers Funeral Home, were held last Thursday afternoon from the Calhoun Presbyterian Church, and interment is in the Calhoun cemetery.
