RITES FOR MRS. WILLAIM QUINLAN HELD TUES.

Mrs. Wm. Quinlan of Omaha passed away last Sunday following an illness of several months. The body was brought to Blair, and burial was made Tuesday morning. Services were held at the Catholic Church at 9 a.m. with Fr. Conners officiating, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.

Deceased was born in Fremont County, Iowa as Miss Ella Egan on October 11, 1878. Here she grew to womanhood and was married to Wm. Quinlan. The husband died several years ago.

Those surviving are two sons, William and Patrick, and one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Dowling, all of Omaha and a number of nieces and nephews and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

MRS. QUINLAN FUNERAL HELD

FORMER BLAIRITE, 69, DIED IN OMAHA; RITES HELD HERE THURSDAY

Mrs. Ellen Quinlan, 69, former Blairite and widow of William Quinlan, died Sunday at her home, 4808 Capitol Ave., Omaha. She had been ill several months.

The body was brought to the Campbell Mortuary here. Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Borgia Catholic church, the Rev. William P. Connor officiating. Interment followed in Holy Cross Cemetery here.

Mrs. Quinlan was the last pioneer of the pioneer Eagan family of Harrison County, Ia. Born Oct. 11, 1878, she was married to Mr. Quinlan in December, 1900. Mr. Quinlan was for many years, prior to 1913, an employee of the Chicago & North Western Railroad. He also served once as a Blair policeman. He died in February, 1944.

Surviving Mrs. Quinlan are one daughter, Mrs. J.J. Dowling (Ruth); two sons, William E. Quinlan and Patrick J. Quinlan; and one grandson, Patrick J. Quinlan Jr. All reside in Omaha.
