MORRIS C. JENSEN RITES THURSDAY

Morris C. Jensen, son of the late Morris C. Jensen of the Orum community, passed away on June 30 in the Lutheran Hospital in Omaha. He was born at Orum on April 18, 1898, and moved to Fremont at the age of seven where he attended school. On September 20, 1920 he was married to Miss Edith Carlson. Since their marriage the couple has lived at Tekamah, Nebraska from 1927 to 1931, in Colorado, 1931 to 1943, in Billings, Montana, and from 1943 to the present in Bellevue, Nebraska where Mr. Jensen was civilian instructor at Ft. Crook during the war, but more recently in private business.

Surviving him are his wife, a son, Clair, two brothers, Chris of Fremont and Edward of Omaha and five sisters, Mrs. Bert Hoover of Wisner, Nebraska; Mrs. Roy Schneider of Rupert, Idaho; Mrs. Elmer Clausen of Omaha; Mrs. Eric Davis of Louisville, Nebraska; and Mrs. Earl Cox of Red Cloud, Nebraska.

The funeral service will be held at the Bendorf Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock, and burial will be made in Blair cemetery.
