FUNERAL RITES FOR HORACE JONES FRIDAY

Horace Jones, 64, died suddenly of a heart attack at noon Tuesday at his home at 400 East Grant St. Deceased was born in Illinois on November 6, 1882 and when five years of age the family moved to Blair where he has since resided.

He had been in poor health for some time, but the sudden attack was unexpected and the shock is terrible to the surviving relatives.

Those left to mourn him are two brothers, Ed of Chicago and Donald of Blair and one sister, Mrs. Chas. Pace of Blair.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Methodist church under the auspices of the Campbell Mortuary and with Rev. Sidney McCaig officiating.

Interment will be made in the Blair cemetery.

Besides the survivors already mentioned three nephews and nine nieces survive.
