NELLIE SHIPLEY HEART VICTIM

Miss Nellie Shipley, daughter of Mark D. Shipley, died Sunday at the University hospital in Omaha where she had been a patient for nearly five months. She was a victim of heart trouble which had followed her for years.

She was born in Ft Calhoun township on July 4th, 1896, where she grew to womanhood. She never married. The mother died several years ago, but the father, Mark D., with a sister, Mrs. P. C. Schott of North Platte, Nebraska, and a brother, Hugh of Sanford, Michigan, remain to mourn her passing.

She was a member of the Presbyterian church at Lyons where the family resided for a number of years, and she lived her religion.

Funeral services were held at 3:30 Wednesday from Campbell’s Mortuary with Rev. John Margar officiating, and interment was made in the Calhoun cemetery.
