MRS. LUCINDA SANDS DIES SUNDAY

Mrs. Lucinda DeVore Sands passed away last Sunday, April 6, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Noel, at the age of 84 years and 28 days.

She came to Nebraska in 1886 and settled at St. Edwards. For the past eleven years she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Harry Noels of Kennard.

Besides the daughter already mentioned she leaves a son Harry L. Sands of Los Angeles, California, nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, two step grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at the Bendorf Funeral Home, and interment will be made in Kennard.
