ROBERT L. POLLOCK DIES AT 78 YEARS

Robert L. Pollock, who with his parents and a sister lived in Blair for a number of years, died at his home in Minneapolis on December 26.

Many Blair people will remember the Pollock family. The father was bookkeeper for the Crowell Lumber and Grain Company when they had their central office in Blair, and the daughter, Miss Anna Pollock, was bookkeeper in the old Cassetter Bank.

They resided in the home where J. E. Campbell now resides which they purchased from a man by the name of Gardner who had resided there for a number of years before the Pollocks came to Blair.

The sister, now Mrs. W. I. Doole of Upland, California, still survives, but the parents have long since died. Besides the sister, he is survived by his wife and daughter.

Deceased was connected with newspaper work for a number of years and in 1899 he founded the Pollock Clipping Bureau which he operated until 1942.
