NELS C. JENSEN DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Nels C. Jensen, formerly of Blair, but late of California, died at his home at Riverside Drive, Ventura on November 21 following a stroke which he suffered last May.

Deceased was born in Denmark in 1884 and in 1910 he came to Blair where he resided until 1942 when he moved to California. In his long years in Blair he was highly respected for his honorable dealings and his high moral character.

His son, who is in the army has been home on a furlough to visit his father before he sailed for overseas duty.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Caroline Jensen, his son, Nels, Jr., and his daughters, Nancy Ann, Mrs. Chris Axtell, Mrs. Ruth Christian, Mrs. Gwen Hogan, all of California; Mrs. Henry Ernshaw of Florida; and Mrs. E. F. Taylor of Omaha. He also has one sister, Mrs. E. M. Nielsen of Omaha and a brother in Minnesota, besides a brother and sister in Denmark.
