KAREN MATHILDA NIELSEN

Mrs. Peter Nielsen of west of Orum died Monday morning at 9:30 o’clock in the Dodge County hospital. The attributing cause of her death was a stroke which she had suffered four days previous.

The deceased was born in Denmark on August 23, 1877. Here she grew to womanhood and on December 26, 1897 she was married to Peter Nielsen. They came to America about thirty years ago, and for years have resided on the farm west of Orum.

One child, Mrs. Marie McIntosh of Irvington, New Jersey, with the husband and two granddaughters, survive, also one brother, Hans Knudsen of Blair.

Funeral services are to be held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Danish Church at Orum, and interment will be made in the Orum cemetery with Rev. N. C. Carlsen of Blair officiating.
